The hotel is old and the photos are deceiving. Great location and staff was always friendly, but the room had a smell that was hard to explain and faded after 5 seconds. Small, stocked fridge with water and sodas in the room, but the wood floor was dirty and a small bathroom. I opened the curtains and blinds to see the surroundings, but there was apparent damage around the windows due to poor maintenance. Bedding needs to be upgraded.

Downside: The room itself was small, musty, and took 10 minutes for the shower to heat up. My room had no information about the wifi, local areas or eateries, or if the water/soda in the fridge cost anything. Upside: The staff were wonderful and kind. The room was quiet and comfortable.

Let us begin with the “pros”: The hotel has a great location; and 24-hour front desk service Here are the “cons” - bear with me, they are a lot: - Very dirty. A historic hotel with a vintage vibe does not have to be dingy to highlight its charm. - No hot water. There is a sign to “let the water run for 1-2 minutes”. Yeah… more like 15 minutes to get relatively warm water. - No daily housekeeping (as advertised), even with door handle sign request. When asked, they said it was done after check out, which would be ok, if originally stated. They offered to come and make the room, but they never did. - Broken and dingy furniture. NOTHING in the room was as pictured in the website. See MY pictures to compare. - Entrance is extremely slippery when wet. No entrance carpet. - No parking, or valet - Front desk incompetence. People were nice, but completely ignorant of basic hospitality principles. Questions were answered vaguely, if at all. When we complained about the issues they said “management would get in touch with us”. I am still waiting for that call. - Read the descriptions carefully: Fees are for two guests. Additional guests pay extra. Not recommended for families, AT ALL. No amenities for children (no pool), and we had to put up with MJ smell in the hall all weekend. - Fun fact: Toiletries were from another hotel. What’s up with that?!

The hotel was old but that we knew, but it needed so much updating. No hand soap was in the bathroom and asked for some and never got any. Shower when you turned it on was coming out of the wall . Had the only room with a cute balcony. Nice location.

This hotel is in need of a renovation. The rooms are small, there is no space to put anything in the bathroom. The bottoms of my white socks were black from walking on the floor of the room. The only elevator is slow so took the stairs the majority of our stay. Then there is the night club at the hotel. It's only open Friday and Saturday nights until 2:30am. We were on the third floor and could hear the music which actually went on past 2:30. Spoke to the staff the next morning about the music in which she asked if we were on the second floor and I told her the third floor. Was told she speak to the club. That night after speaking to the staff the night club did turn the music down. Overall I won't stay at this property again as we were not comfortable there at all, couldn't wait to check out.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. We did not have hot water. We were repeatedly told our stay would be refunded and to have Expedia contact them. Every time Expedia contacted them, they were hung up on and unable to resolve the issue.

The front desk staff was amazing, specifically Eddie, but the room was dirty and I had ONLY hot scalding water in the shower. Weirdly, I had family in another room and they only had cold water. I stayed for 3 nights and had to wash in the sink because the shower was unusable. Spoke to the front desk, but they couldn’t move me because the hotel was sold out. It was Presidents Day weekend.

The floor felt sticky on our shoes in the room. The shower didn’t really get hot and didn’t have great pressure. They only gave us two towels when there were 3 of us staying there for two nights. We had to ask for more since no one came in to clean or refresh anything. They also put a $30 hold on my card in case we took anything from the “mini bar” in our room but there was nothing in our room except a couple bottles of water. I wouldn’t recommend this place, but it fits the bill as a cheaper option if you need one.

Nothing like the pictures. If you sit on the toilet your face can rest on the sink. Whole hotel smelled like mildew and there was nothing included in the stay, like breakfast. You have to pay $30 a night to park across the street in a parking garage

I had to change room four times for multiple issues. Squeaking beds a bet I slept on completely slouched and screeched. Doris paint scratched off, mold in the bathrooms. Elevator not working very well.

The room was not as shown in pictures very run down and unkempt, we had four rooms for three nights and had no hot water for the entirety one of the rooms had the look of an attempted break in so we had to switch if we could have changed hotels we would have Hotel.com should perhaps check the hotels they are promoting. I will say the man on the front desk wascvery apologetic but he seemed to be working with no back up.
