Not for Me
I was hoping I would like this resort, considering its proximity to Vegas, however, many obstacles we had to maneuver around all weekend.
1. Checking in on a Friday? Good luck getting anyone to help you. Staff, if you can find them, are typically helping the senior citizens and ignoring everyone else.
2. The pool slide was closed. They also state the pool is heated year-round. The pool was freezing cold every day. They also allow Cigar and Cigarette smoking at a Family Pool.
3. Our room was FILTHY. The Bathroom tub was dirty, the air vents looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. The AC unit had sticky food and cobwebs. I tried to give my child a bath and the water was yellow in the bath and also coming up everytime you flush the toilet. Flooring was filthy, we were thankful we brought house slippers. My kids feet were black walking barefoot. Does Nevada Health Department not regulate Tribal land? It feels like they dont. Their cleaning staff is in need of retraining. Even common areas in the hotel are filthy.
4. Brenden Movie Theaters is a joke. The venue needs a lot of repair/better management. We paid for a movie that they couldnt get to work multiple times. Just be honest with people.
5. Coffee stand was decent and the only place we ate at except poolside. Every other meal we had in Bullhead City
6. Bonus: if you skip my advice and end up giving them a chance, make time for Oatman, AZ to escape the nuances you will have from AVI Resort.
