Jeg havde bestilt et superior værelse, men ud over størrelsen føltes værelset ikke specielt “superior”: Møblementet var trist og tungt med mørke møbler i outdatet stil, og der manglede luksusfølelsen, som resten af hotellet ellers umiddelbart giver én indtryk af. Og selv om jeg havde gjort receptionen opmærksom på, at min kæreste og jeg besøgte hotellet pga. vores 1-årsdag, så fik vi en seng bestående af to enkeltsenge, som skøjtede langt fra hinanden allerede i første forsøg på at ligge i ske, så det måtte vi opgive. Der fulgte morgenmad med i prisen, og det betød, at der var helt utrolig mange mennesker. Jeg opgav første gang pga. køerne, og i andet forsøg skulle man møve sig rundt på forholdsvis lidt plads til mange “stationer” placeret forskellige steder i restauranten. Maden og udvalget var okay, men så heller ikke meget mere end det, når man tager hotellets prisniveau i betragtning - og kaffen var virkelig dårlig (meget bitter - smagte ikke frisklavet). På plussiden: Hotellet er smukt, restauranten og baren er en visuel fornøjelse, og det kunne ikke ligge mere centralt. Og ekstraplus til rengøringspersonalet, som hilste gæsterne, de mødte på gangen lørdag morgen, med glade smil og en smittende energi (det kunne receptionspersonalet (alle temmelig unge, smukke, men køligt distancerede mennesker) godt tage lidt ved lære af, for de fremstod mere, som om de var valgt efter udseende og fremtoning, men ikke efter hverken imødekommenhed, erfaring eller service-gen).
