I only interacted with the front desk staff, and they were very professional and courteous. Check in and check out was a breeze.
The room was very clean, and despite it being bitter cold outside, the HVAC worked like a champ and kept me toasty all evening. It is an older Hotel, so there may be very minor inconveniences like my bathroom door scrapes against the floor and makes a noise. Didn't really bother me. The mattress was very firm, like I prefer and I slept like a baby. The best sleep ever!

The location was great. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet.
The staff respinded quickly to a few problems, i.e. TV signal, difficulty opening the door and the room number sequence. No signs directing you to the rooms, so a bit difficult.

Not sure why I expected any different from an ESA--but there were clothes drying on bushes and all manner of people standing around the parking lot smoking, etc. The breakfast area is coffee and hidden muffins below the coffee (would not have known they existed but the very nice front desk staff told me).
The room was great. Clean. Bed very comfy.

Good basic accommodations. Very affordable. Only Oatmeal and coffee for breakfast. Bring your own pots, dishes and cutlery though. Under a mile to Inova Medical Campus.
