My rankings averaged out to a 3, but if I could give half stars, this would be closer to a 2.5.
Cleanliness was a hit or miss from room to room. I had to be moved to a different room when I found my original room original one had strange red splotches around the room and a dirty refrigerator. My new room did not have a trash can in it, but was cleaner.
In both rooms, the fixtures were dated and a refresh (TVs, furniture, wall fixtures) would make a big difference in the look and feel of the rooms.
I am not sure if the entire building is non-smoking, but my floor and room was, and it had a lingering smell of smoke.
Breakfast was accurately portrayed: it is grab and go. Coffee and tea, nutrigrain bars, oatmeal, and muffins. It is grab and go. If you are looking for an actual breakfast, the hotel is less than 5 minutes away from a Waffle House.
The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The front desk workers were responsive and moved to fix issues quickly for the customers.
Ultimately, if you dropping your things in the room and leaving them there and only coming back to sleep, this hotel is fine. If you were hoping to enjoy the amenities or wanted to spend more time around your room, I would book elsewhere.
