I was in town to celebrate my birthday with my family. The person who checked me in was not very friendly, very flat but polite. She did not volunteer much information, like WI-FI information, etc., but I guess friendly banter is not her forte. We get to the room and it is clean so that was fine. I noticed that the thermostat was not really adjusting properly; it was either freezing or blowing lukewarm air. Later that evening we noticed that the fridge was not working. I tried to call the front desk but the phone was not working so I had to call from my cell phone. Not catastrophic but annoying. The front desk asked me to see if the fridge was plugged in which meant that I had to lift it to see; it was plugged in and he assured me that he would replace it the next morning. I had to go back outside to my car to store my food. Fortunately it was cold enough. The fridge was never replaced. I had some fruit that went bad because I had placed it in before I realized it wasn’t working. Another issue was the water in the bathroom wasn’t clear, it looked cloudy, the elevators smelled like weed, and the heating system was so loud and screeching. And no one serviced our room. Needless to say we were not pleased. I did mention to Kelly as I was leaving about the fridge and she adjusted my rate by 15%, but it should have been more. I’m really disappointed.
