As soon as you walk in the door the lobby and Hallways had a foul odor of stale cigarette smoke. But heavy in that it was like someone was hiding somewhere chain smoking them. There were signs everywhere that the establishment was non smoking to the point they make you even if you’ve booked with a 3rd party pay a 100$ separate deposit. I was hesitant but I did. 10 hours of driving and chose those hotel. Made it through the stench to our room Which as actually pretty clean to be fair. Comfort wise I would give a 3/10. I can get past all of that. Being woken up at 430am by the laughing and banging and carrying on of the room next to you is a lot to take in. It being an adjoined room had a door separating the two. Whoever was in that room repeatedly tried to unlock and use the door knob to come into our room.not only that but I thought it was the noise that woke me up. I inhaled and it was like I was puffing on someone’s cigarette so much my nose hurt. That woke me up completely. I approached the front desk night manager to try and resolve the issue. He went and knocked on the door of the neighbors so I went inside and went back to bed. I woke up an hour later to nose filled with cig smell and then again with the rattle of the lock I went to the manager who accused me of just starting trouble. Said no refund instead of just offering me a diff room. Didn’t want to listen and got very accusatory. So much that my wife and I decided to leave the hotel at 530 am instead of sleeping.
