Bed bugs. I awoke at 1:30am on night two/three of my trip to my arm on fire. I turn my phone light on and there’s a literal bed bug crawling on my sheet. I panic and get my child up to go to the desk. The lady moves me to the room directly above. At this point I cannot sleep and neither can my child. So we leave. I let the lady at the front desk know we cannot do it and check out. I drive 7 hours back to Tennessee on 32 minutes of sleep with my arm on fire. I call the next two days trying to get a refund and answers. The hotel tells hotel.com I stayed my full duration and not to issue a refund. I call the hotel and the lady who “checked me out” never checked me out in the system. Thank god the man working found in the activity log that I left at 3:45am due to “being uncomfortable” so hotels.com issues me $88 refund. Mind you, I missed two full days of my trip due to this. I also end up at the doctor with cellulitis from the bites. Do not stay here. I am still trying to get this under control and resolved.
