Hotel is not bad. Was disappointed in a pattern I keep seeing and this hotel was guilty of it. If you book through a 3rd party platform, like hotels.com, you get the bottom of the barrel rooms. I got one where the AC didn’t work. They did fix it (albeit it meant engineers in my room for an hour when I had work calls) but when I requested a room change after a night of poor sleep in an 80 degree room - they refused to change for me. But before the refused - they looked at my reservation. I’m seeing more and more hotels treat their 3rd party booked customers like this. I logged 100+ nights in hotels this year and the pattern is obvious. Expedia should have a policy and a system of checks and balances when hotels choose to do this. Makes the 3rd party program not worth it in my opinion.
