I actually enjoyed my stay overall — the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and met expectations. I also want to specifically call out the restaurant staff — our waitress was absolutely fantastic and provided great service.
Unfortunately, the billing experience completely overshadowed what would have otherwise been a positive stay. I was charged twice for the same reservation — once through Hotels.com and again directly by the hotel (processed through Expedia).
When I contacted the hotel, they acknowledged the duplicate charge and admitted it was an error. However, despite that, no refund has been issued.
I disputed the charge with my credit card company, and the hotel responded with documentation claiming the charge was valid, which contradicts what I was told directly.
It’s frustrating because the stay itself was good, but the way this situation has been handled is very concerning. With so many other hotel options available, this simply isn’t worth the risk of dealing with questionable billing practices. I would not stay here again.
