Somewhat Satisied
The stay started out terrible - I originally asked for 2 beds; our room had 1 king. I went to the front desk; I explained what I asked for - since i had a pet with me, I wanted ground floor; and 2 beds. When I got there, the only rooms available were on the 3rd floor. The man at the desk explained that the room was "pre-assigned"; I asked by whom; he said the "system". A day before; our travel I got a pre-check in request from La Quinta - I went through their process; had to ask for a $15 upgrade for 2 beds; then there was a $25 pet fee. This all seemed strange to me; I don't know if this was all the agreement between Hotels.com and La Quinta, or what was going on. I still have yet to see a bill - when I checked; they said thank you and that was it. I don' recall if I pre-paid through Hotels.com or how the process worked. I needed this hotel, since it was one of the few that was pet friendly. I will add, on a positive side. the hotel looked very nice; was quite clean; and the room was in great condition 9 our one bed!!! My response to room service is misleading. They did not have a kitchen; but provided several menus from local restaurants; I used that and that worked out great. Brought the food to the door within 45 minutes for order start. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. This was our third stay at this same hotel; all due to pet requirements. there were no issues with my pet. Would I stay there again; probably; cleanliness is important/
