Didn’t get to stay at the place as we were told that it wasn’t pet friendly — when we booked it we thought it was. Completely on my, we’ve been traveling for a week straight so I’m extremely exhausted. — my husband checked us in while I tried to find parking on the property to unload our luggage.
The parking was so difficult and inconvenient, it was behind the hotel & you have to pay $25 a day.
I did multiple laps to figure the area out.
Since I didn’t go in with him and didn’t take my dog it wasn’t brought up and my husband was under the impression everything was okay.
We get there, unload our stuff & go upstairs.
We were told we have to pay $250 for our dog for one night.
My issue was how this was approached, the operator in the back was extremely rude.
She gave me a whole attitude and wasn’t allowing me to speak. I politely told her that we understand the problem & we apologize. The rude customer service was not needed. We were told the property wasn’t pet friendly but quite literally saw animals with owners coming in and out of the place.
Even we’re told by some workers that they see animals all the time.
So it was super misleading with the whole interaction and attitude given we had just travelled 2,000 miles away via car.
Quite literally the worst customer service ever, and on top of that they kept our $180 or whatever it was for the night.
