This list of great restaurants in Krabi shows why this part of Thailand is fast becoming recognized for its excellent dining options. It's not necessarily noted as a fine-dining location, so don't go expecting the sort of standout experiences you can find in Bangkok or Phuket.     The Last Fisherman is a tropical restaurant set right on Ao Nang Beach’s southern part. This bar and restaurant's structure was built using recovered materials such as thatch, bamboo and driftwood, It offers its punters a chill-out place at which they can dine with their toes in the sand under the shade of coconut and tropical almond trees.

    The Last Fisherman is certainly not a fine-dining venue, but it serves pretty decent food – western snacks, Thai favorites, and barbecue in the evening – as well as a great choice of excellent cocktails that are highly appreciated while things are cooling down at sunset time.
