Great potential but need to improve on many things
Pros:
- Beautiful location, one of best spots in the island for the beach
- staff is always very nice and friendly
Cons:
- Rooms: too small and not so clean. We had the private villa with pool and we did have space to open just 1 luggage at the time. Bathroom is open so you will have mosquitos attacking you when you enter all the time. We had to asketo change sheets many times as we regularly found them stained. Towels just changed 2 times in 6 days.
- Restaurant : menus was very limited, especially at breakfast (just milk, muesli, 1 jam, toasted bread and few local cooked dishes) - better Ok other places in the island. Dinner fish grill is OK.
- Restaurant service is very very bad:ycompletely disorganized, not all waiters speak English so they often understand the wwronge thing, average wait is more than 40 mins, you have to repeat things, they sometime bring you dishes with no fork or at different times so other have finished eating while you have to start.
- Noise: on a couple of nightsvyou mighnights morning prayer at 5.30 from the mosque, but I guess that you hear that from other places as well
- our friends had to leave for an emergency 3 days in advance and received no reimbursement
Overall: place has the potential to be great with several improvements, especially in the service, but currently for what you pay (much more than average in Bali) is not good value for money.
