A little Haven in the Padi Fields
First time staying there for 4 nights. Awesome! Hubby & I enjoyed it so much. For adults only so pretty quiet in the middle of the padi fields. That being said, plenty of little creatures for company but that is to be expected in a village style accommodation; though upscale. Nothing around but nature; which we loved. Ubud center is about 15 mins away but with shuttle service available we have no complaints. Driver/ Butler is knowledgeable & a good driver. Also help me get some fruits I wanted. Thanks Wayan!😄 Riki the receptionist is so helpful, friendly & personable. Hi Rika! Hope to see you all soon. All wait staff was so sweet, welcoming & spoke good English. Hi girls! Can’t wait to be back.☺️ BTW, the food is fantabulous!! I actually find myself wanting to go back to our little sanctuary for dinner instead of eating out in Ubud. Mashaallah! So goooood! Breakfasts were phenomenal! We were spoilt there. No need to second guess… we will stay there again for sure. Oh and one night, the staff surprised with a beautiful crafted presentation on our bed!!! Look at enclosed pictures. Awesome! They went far & beyond to make our stay so pleasant & memorable. Good job, guys!!!!👍😄 and Terima Kaseh! Warmest Regards from Sophia & Scott🫶

Great staff, beautiful villa but some odd things
Staff was always super helpful and friendly, really elevated our stay. Villa was beautiful, we had the honeymoon villa. However the view was not overlooking the jungle like in the pictures at hotels.com but that was okay. There were a few things I found odd: - At check in we were explained that we would be charged for any damages in the room. For instance if there were any stains they could not remove. We of course understand this, but the odd thing is our bed already had some stains when checking in. Chose to ignore this as it wasn’t a big issue/ - Ants, bugs and lizards came through the gap of the door from the pool. This was in the middle of the jungle so we had many visits. Mentioned this at checkout. - The bedside lamps had mould in them. - We weren’t allowed to order outside food because they wanted us to support their hotel. I wish they had a wider variety on the menu at least when this was the case. At checkout we were asked to give a written feedback while the staff were overlooking and reviewing what we wrote. For me this was uncomfortable and I felt I couldn’t give my honest feedback while being put on the spot. Overall it was a nice room and very warm and welcoming staff. Hope you see this feedback for what it’s meant for - constructive and to help you improve.

We had a such a lovely time at the Anusara Resort and I want to give a massive shoutout to all of their staff for making our stay extra special (hopefully I’ve spelt all the names correctly and not missed anyone!); Dewa, Komang, Wayan, Rika, Ayux, Widi, Ika, Nyoman & Ayu. The villas were lovely and truly luxurious but it’s the staff that makes this place special. Coming back to the villa one day after exploring Ubud to find a lovely birthday message on the bed, to then be met at our villa door with a piece of cake and sang happy birthday was so special and made my day. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our time in Bali and whilst the restaurant area was under renovation during our stay having it served in the villa around the pool area was a delight. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower area. The shuttle car into Ubud is super handy and we used it quite a few times, for both drop off and pick up, and it was really easy to get in touch via WhatsApp to request the service. All in all a 10/10 stay and if we ever come back to Ubud we will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the whole team for looking after us and making the start of our trip to Bali so memorable!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Villa mit einem tollen Pool. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und der Service sehr gut. Praktisch war der kostenfreie Shuttle nach Ubud.

This place was a dream, the staff is so friendly and the rooms are beautiful. I felt extremely safe being a woman of color on my first solo trip! The staff treats you like family .. definitely will be back here again.

My wife and I spent the first week of our honeymoon in Bali at the Anusara and had the most amazing experience. From the minute we arrived, we felt a tremendous sense of community at the resort and were treated like family by all the amazing staff. Rika, Wayan, Dewa, Gusti and the rest of the staff were so amazing to get to know during our stay, and provided amazing insight into Balinese culture; they truly made our stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing Balinese experience, then the Anusara is right for you. The villas are nestled within a rice paddy and back onto an amazing jungle setting. There are 8 villas total, but each comes with an amazing private pool, outdoor shower /tub and beautiful rooms. With the proximity to Ubud Centre from the resort, its the perfect blend of sereneness and the action of Ubud. The resort / villas themselves are a short drive from Ubud Centre (about 10-12 minutes depending on traffic) and the resort provides a free shuttle service into Ubud and back to the resort on a set schedule. Also, for a small, added fee, you can arrange for a different drop off or pickup location outside of the set schedule. Lastly, highly recommend the breakfast at the resort to start your day, as they have a great kitchen team, and also serve delicious lunch and dinner options! Already counting down the days that we can come back and stay at the Anusara again 10/10!!! Sam and Erica

I stayed in the honeymoon suite (suite 6). The AC blew warm air and the temp could not be adjusted up or down on the remote while the other buttons worked fine on the remote so it wasn’t a battery issue. The property itself is surrounded by trees and rice paddies. Nowhere to walk to in terms of eating or entertainment. You’ll need a car or transportation to go anywhere and it’s a bit out of the way so give lots of extra time given Ubud’s traffic. The breakfast was very nice and staff is friendly. The guy though at check in is a bit too intense. He makes you sit and then proceeds to read you the riot act in a condescending manner. Overall it’s a nice property but a little inconvenient.

The location was close to Ubud centre and the villa kindly provides free shuttle to the centre. The staff were very helpful and kind with the villa also being very nice, cozy and clean. I would come stay here again in my next return to indonesia.
