Villa del Palmar was a beautiful and relaxing get away for our family. We were all-inclusive guests and were always treated attentively and kindly, even the kids!
There were many food options. The breakfast buffet offers an omelette bar and a waffle/ pancake/ French toast bars. Lunch by the pool was great for the kids who were looking for a cheeseburger, but the real start of the show was the taco bar which also offers sushi! Dinner boasts many options— Carbon, where a personal wood fire grill is brought to the table; Bella California, an Italian experience with an assortment of pastas, mains, and pizzas; Tomatillos, a local farm-to-table experience (requires reservations). But our kids loved the buffet with the nightly show. Each night is themed, and the shows were fun and well-choreographed.
The resort’s entertainment team kept the day moving at the pool with daily stretching, crafts, blackjack, water aerobics, water volleyball, and bingo. We did not use the kids’ center (4-12 year olds only) as one of our children was not old enough, but I assume, like everything else at VDP, the kids would have loved their programs!
The staff takes great care in tending to the resort. From groundskeepers, to servers, to cleaning staff, everything sparkles! There are improvements being made to the property. The crews work long days and the progress in one week was astounding. Can’t wait to see the outcome!
