I specifically choose this hotel bc HOTELS.COM is selling a whirlpool suite.
When we arrived, we were told that since the hotel renovations, they REMOVED ALL OF THE WHIRLPOOLS. NONE OF THE ROOMS HAS A WHIRLPOOL. What a huge disappointment for my husband bdcelebration. I bought candles, champagne, flowers, etc to set a romantic and relaxing mood for my hardworking husband who loves whirlpool tubs. I asked the front attendant well does the room at least have a tub, he said yes. Okay, fine. I was being optimistic that I could still have a romantic and relaxing setting, but again, another disappointment, only a shower. I called the front desk & ask the attendant is there a room with a tub, he said he had 2 figure out which rooms & he never updated us. I didn’t call back bc I didn’t want to be a pain.
I did call hotels.com, & their only offer is to check out of the room & get a refund & 2 call a 2nd a number to get the issue resolve. I didn’t bother calling the 2nd number bc 1. we had just travel hours & were exhausted from a long work week. 2. we did not want 2 look for another hotel at 10 pm after it took me days 2 find a “perfect” setting. 3. hotels.com & the front desk both said we could get a refund & find another hotel, so I said I’m done.
Positive: My husband enjoyed the continental breakfast. The room was like a small apartment and everything was provided for.
Cons: The staff did not change the bedding. There was hair all over it. I brought my own bedding. TG
