In October, off-season, the hotel was lightly attended, so it was pleasantly quiet. The desk staff were fine, but not especially genial as a great hospitality crew might be. The fitness room had several treadmills, one bike, two ellipticals, dumbbells, and a bench, in good condition. The king room was plenty spacious; i used only half of it. The bed seemed a comfortable type, but time in it told me the pillowtop pad was worn and the mattress was hard. The pillows were less substantial and supportive than cotton candy would be; that's not luxury when your head isn't supported. The bathroom was clean, nicely furnished, and well lit. The shower was gusher strong, which i consider a demerit due to water waste; oddly in a water-short region. The made-to-order full restaurant was fine for breakfast, with very courteous staff. In all, it was adequate but i wish the sleeping had been more comfortable.
