Misleading Amenities and Maintenance Issues
I stayed here during spring break, and while there were some positives, the experience was disappointing.
The listing advertised free breakfast, but it only included coffee, packaged muffins, unflavored oatmeal, and hot water—not a standard breakfast. On the second day, there weren’t even muffins left when we came down a little before 9 AM. This felt misleading.
The front desk was often unattended. When we checked in, I waited about five minutes before someone yelled, “I’m coming!” from the back. They were friendly but unprofessional.
Our first room smelled horrible, so we requested a change. The new room was clean and included a kitchenette, but the listing didn’t mention that kitchen essentials (plates, pots, etc.) cost an extra $40. We would’ve brought our own if we’d known.
The pool was dirty and unusable, which disappointed my kids. On the last day, the elevator broke down. Nights were noisy due to banging sounds above us, and while the air conditioner kept the room cool, it was very loud.
Overall, while the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, misleading amenities and maintenance issues made for a frustrating stay. The hotel should update its listing to reflect reality and improve its facilities.
