On arrival there was insufficient parking, despite there being two large car park areas that were fenced off. We had to park in a nearby residential area.
The hotel itself is dated and could do with some TLC.
In our bathroom, the towel rail was half hanging off the wall, the soap dispensers didn’t work despite being full and the taps had stickers saying non drinkable water, even though there was a kettle in the room, we couldn’t fill it. The door isn’t well sound insulated so we had to rely on other guests being considerately quiet.
The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains were very effective.
We would say the hotel was passable, just and whilst we would stay there again, it would be far from our first choice.
