Pretenzioso
Nice and big room, excellent mattress, but the toilet did not flush when I arrived (then they fixed it) and the holes of the shower was almost completely clogged.
My window was 3 meters away from another building. When I pointed it out, I was told, coldly and without any willingness to dialogue, that those are the standard rooms. In fact, the view over the pool is sold as if it were a panoramic ocean view. Actually it is a courtyard with a pool that occupies almost the entire perimeter and some ornamental plants.
The breakfast that I chose (Swisse breakfast), quite expensive by local standards, ridiculously included (in addition to fruit and yogurt) a small baguette and a toast (both cold and certainly not fragrant) to be eaten with a teaspoon of half-frozen butter and a teaspoon of jam placed on a tiny saucer.
If you do not care to pretend to be in a luxury resort but use hotels for the real services that they can offer as you visit the city, you will surely find the 252 a bit pretentious.
