8/10 Very good

Certainly, the location is very good for moving around and having access to Calle 47 (restaurant row). This time around, everything in the room functioned well I placed a call before arriving to make sure that I did not have a repeat of the last visit. And I'm pleased to say that the staff took this seriously. The only thing I would suggest that was problematic was the temperature of the water. It was difficult to get hot water and in fact we never did. It was lukewarm at best. I left the room rather early and hung the please clean up my room sign on the door. However, it did not make a difference. Overall, a very good place to stay.

The location is very convenient for getting to various places. It would also be a good idea to have a space near the front desk to offer coffee—specifically, higher-quality coffee. The pool area needs to feel a bit more inviting. The bathrooms: meticulous, detailed maintenance.

Great location, parking available, nice-looking building. • lack of maintenance in general • poor cleaning (details) • none/or small windows, no natural light • towels need to be renovated, nice hotel for such a poor quality or very old • need a back office to recibe complains (we were checking out and there was a previous guest making a show for something forgotten or stolen, right there in the lobby in front of everyone) • Staff could be a little nicer! Seems like the Kavia group has taken over small hotels and renovated them, but it needs more attention in small details!

Comfortable bed, nice rain shower with plenty of hot water. Relatively quiet for being in a busy area. I would not go to the restaurant attached even though it is not associated with the hotel. Parking just behind the hotel with covered spaces was well lit at night.
Just across from the hotel.
Diagonally across from the hotel.

Reception was very friendly and accommodating. Helped store luggage and facilitate laundry. Rooms may benefit from spot cleaning as found previous guests’ items, etc.. Area was very pleasant with cafés, restaurants, and convenience store with walkable distances.

The hotel was nice overall. The pool area could use some more cleaning. The windows were very dirty, smudged everywhere. Also, the corners/floor of the shower were pretty dirty. Everything the hotel offers is nice and comfortable but it could be cleaner.

Great Stay

A great modern hotel. The staff was very friendly, check-in and check-out was easy. They spoke very little English but with Google translate, they're still accommodating. Wi-Fi worked well. Smart TV worked well, connected to Netflix easily-- we were stuck in side a lot as it rained our entire trip. Everything was very clean. They had free parking in a lot a street behind the hotel but we easily accessed the back door of the hotel to get in instead of walking back around. The strip of Paseo de Montejo is a fantastic, walkable area-- a bit more tourist friendly than downtown. Our only complaint was that the smell of cleaning chemicals was so intense it gave me a headache. I could go the rest of my life without smelling Fabuloso ever again after this trip. Overall, it was a great stay--especially for the price.

6/10 Good

I recently stayed at this hotel and, overall, my experience was mixed. On the downside, the front desk service was very slow. In the room, there was a persistent sewage smell coming from the air conditioning, which was unpleasant. The pillows were also too hard, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Additionally, the common areas were dirty and poorly maintained, which gave the hotel a neglected appearance. That said, there were some positives. The location is excellent — surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafés, boutiques, and shops, making it easy to enjoy the neighborhood. The hotel also offers easy-access parking, which was very convenient. One highlight of the stay was the breakfast. The dishes were delicious, and the service in the restaurant was friendly and attentive.

The room was comfortable, but the air-conditioned doesn't work well so it feels warm. There were a little mold in The bathroom. Nobody help us to take our luggage upstairs or when we left. The swimming pool need more clorox, there was full of bugs. and even when I told the staff and I repeated ask the same about the swimming pool with bugs the person repeated said it's because the wind and the trees. In the 3erd. Floor there are no trees to start in the 3er. Floor ,second a lot of bugs 🐛 on the pool is because is not cleaned or maintenance with clorox, and is not safe for kids. Good location. Good beds. And room. Some improve .

I got a room at Hotel Chariot. I had requested a room with a king-size bed. The first problem with the room was the air conditioner did not work. The second problem with the room was the safe. It also did not work. The hotel asked me if I wanted to go across the hallway into a room with two double beds. I did not see a choice, as I was with a friend, and agreed. The next morning I got up to take a shower and the shower had burst and covered the bathroom The hotel was nice enough to make a gesture and accommodate me at their sister hotel across the road. However, the room they supplied had no water pressure in the shower and very little in the sink. I am supposed to go back next week and they promised me that everything would be taken care of. I am somewhat skeptical.
