Desert Palms Alice Springs
10/10 Excellent
"Each unit was separate, as a single unit with gabled roof. This meant it was quiet. There was a laundry and pool, great for those of us who had returned from walking the Larapinta Trail. The back of the property borders onto the golf course, which was a good dining option. Town was only a 20-30 minute walk (depending on how fast your walking speed), so good access for shopping and the fortnightly market. The property had its own kitchenette, with coffee and tea making facilities as well as a microwave. This was very handy. I will definitely stay here again."
"I didn't like how the second carpark was not accessible without the help of the staff to open it. That being said, the staff were very helpful in opening it. The price was good and the spacious and well fitted. Will stay there again."
"Stay at Alice is right in the Centre of CBD with easy access to the Mall where most of shops & galleries are. I found it quiet and comfortable. Great choice of restaurants & pubs in and around the Mall. Airport bus drop off to and from airport. Highly recommend.

"I gave a 5 starts review because I think the current grades do it some injustice.
The beds in this hotel are simply fabulous.
Regarding the room -in our first visit we were upgraded to a room starting with 3 (in the river block) and this room was excellent. In our second visit we stayed in a rooms starting with 2 and the room needed some update, and more intriguing - was located on the main road so noisy. So in order to fully enjoy - ask for a room in the river block or at least a room not facing the road.
The coupon provided in reception makes the breakfast buffet a great deal.
It was too cold for the pool and it is less inviting than the picture they publish."
