Residence Inn by Marriott Washington Downtown/Convention Center

did not have to wait to speak with someone at the front desk which is often the case. room was quite spacious.

Everything was excellent. We did have one suggestion about parking. We were there less than 24 hours and the parking charge was almost $70. That seems too high. Most parking garages charge way less. Otherwise the staff , facilities and location were excellent.

The facility is really nice. New and clean. Comfortable beds. Great rooftop and 4th floor terrace (shaded). There is no service. No one to help you take your bags into the building or event to tell you there are self-service carts for guests to use. Location is great. Right next to conference center.

Very impressed with this property.

My stay was lovely until I came home. I was never informed of a hold placed on my debit card for incidentals, which was supposed to be under 200 dollars but turned out to be over 700 dollars that I now can't access to pay my bills a full 8 days later. I was told it would clear on Friday but it still hasnt.
