Hotel España Ramblas

The hotel was in a perfect location in Barcelona! And I mean perfect! The rooms were very clean and we all slept comfortably. A plus of the rooms was the free water and juice that they would refill everyday! The staff was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile! The doorman was my daughters favorite as he would offer her candy when we arrived and would leave the hotel. The roof-top bar had really good food and drinks. The only small negative I have is the breakfast buffet.. I would avoid that and go into the city.

Customer service was amazing. The air Conditioning in our room did not work at all, and there were no windows in the room so it was very hot and stuffy. Over all the customer service superceeded the uncomfortable nights sleep.

Great location, super clean, fantastic service and friendly employees, the comfort of the bed topped everything.

Quirky hotel in fabulous location, so near to the marina, beach, amazing choice of restaurants and gothic architecture. The hotel staff were charming and efficient. The room was beautifully cleaned daily albeit it was a little smaller than expected, which really didn’t matter .....why would you stay in your room in a city like Barcelona! Very good barman on the terrace bar! Would definitely book again.

There was no way to keep the water in the shower. The water ran down hill to the door and down on to the floor. The water would only come out if a small hand held wand but not the nice hands free shower head above. It mad hair washing dificult. It looked lovely though and was clean.
