Hotel Max 70

Lovely hotel in a lovely area of Salzburg , the room was so spacious and the staff were super friendly ! I’d definitely recommend staying here :) we will definitely be back ! Ps the scrambled eggs were the best ever :)

Very friendly staff throughout, room was very clean, beds were comfortable. Buffet breakfast was also good and fresh. Although room it’s a bit tight and location is about 25 mins walk from town centre, it was still a very good quiet neighbourhood. You can catch a bus to town centre right outside of the hotel. You might want to bring your own hair conditioner in case you need some, it wasn’t provided.

This hotel is in an excellent location with frequent bus services into the old town taking about 10 minutes. The rooms are cosy and nicely designed. However, I think this hotel is perhaps an upmarket hostel. It was very noisy at night time and there was no reception service from around 9pm. Also, the WiFi wasn’t great and I found the room cleaningsservice very poor. I found the staff were not accommodating with my issues of noise and WiFi which was a shame. Overall it’s expensive for what it is - a basic hotel. However, the design of the rooms is great and the location is super.
