Charming Two-Bedroom Apartment Next To The Emmaus Abbey

I stayed here for four nights on a rather last-minute trip to Prague in May 2018. The 5th floor apartment looks to have been very recently refurbished, and is fitted out very tastefully. There are two double bedrooms, a shower room with toilet, and a separate bathroom (no toilet). The kitchen is modern and has all the appliances and utensils you need (including, praise be, an actually decent and sharp knife), there’s a dining table, sofa, digital TV with Netflix, and a balcony. The view from the balcony is into the courtyard facing west, with sun in the afternoon. The building (which has an elevator) is in a quiet residential area two blocks from the river. Trans and a metro station are a couple of minutes walk away, there’s small supermarkets nearby, and on the section of the river close by there are restaurant/bar boats moored. I thought this was a great location away from the main tourist hubbub to be based. It’s only a few minutes by tram or a very scenic 15-20 walk along the river to the main centre. The welcome and introduction to the apartment was great, they had got in a few useful basics in the kitchen, and were very helpful in arranging a shuttle transfer. Good English spoken.
