The Bricks Rome

Ottima posizione, con molte possibilità di parcheggio se siete in auto o con possibilità di prendere mezzi pubblici se non lo siete, ma la parte migliore è stata il personale dell'hotel; una menzione speciale per Giada che durante il nostro soggiorno ci ha fatti sentire più come fossimo tra amici che in un hotel. Ottima esperienza a Roma.

To be honest, the place is very clean, however it is not a hotel it is more like a hostel. I was very disappointed with the service the Bricks provided. I went with my family. The room was clean but was filled with mosquitoes and bugs everywhere. Also, the air conditioning was not working. It was heat only or nothing. Upon telling the staff about these problems, the staff was completely unsympathetic. They informed me if I wanted air I would just open the rear doors for air but if I did that more bugs and mosquitoes would come in. Also, I asked for a new room, they told me I had to pay extra to change the room, even though the hotel issues were their problem. To add to it, the owner happened to be there when the issue was brought up and his response was “here is some off for the mosquitoes “. This was unacceptable. No compassion at all was shown and this was very disappointing. Additionally, this hostel is very far from all the tourist/landmarks (city). Transportation such as a bus/ metro or taxi must be taken to het everywhere. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place and I would suggest to find something else. Overall it was a horrible experience.

The ladies at the front desk were very helpful. We liked that there was a full kitchen and supplies. It was also close to the metro station.
