10/10 Exceptional

Room was spacious and clean enough, bathroom smelled of disinfectant, and the shower was constantly dripping, which doesn't bother me. Bed was nice, close to the bus station is very convenient. The reception is open 24/7, all though I had to wake the guy up when I was leaving around 5 am, so don't be in a hurry if you're off to an early start (or the middle of the night). I was taking the first train to Seoul, which left at 0548 in the morning, but I wasn't sure that I had the correct information, so I had him look it up for me and confirm it, as well as calling me a cab since the train station is 20 minutes away. All of this went off without a hitch, so no complaints. As a solo traveller, spending most of the time outside, I only needed a place to crash, and this was perfect.

Excellent boutique hotel.

Clean, extremely friendly staff, small but great western style breakfast, and free laundry including a detergent.

Good breakfast provided

4th time staying here. Convenient location just 3 min from intercity express bus terminal n local bus terminal. 20-30 min walk to the main tourist spots-大陵苑etc. Most love the breakfast provided-sausages, egg, toast, salad, fruit n drinks. However, it seems the price has gone up quite a lot. Quite expensive this time.

Easy access to buses and downtown sights. No sidewalks, gambling and clubs around but hotel itself was quiet and wellmana

10/10 Exceptional

Great location near the bus station and busses 10,11,700 which will take you to the temples outside of town. Only 10–15 walk to the center of town. The neighborhood is going through a major overhaul with lots new hotels. Previous reviewers mentioned gambling halls and such, but these all appear to be closed down for some time. The neighborhood was safe. The room itself was cozy, modern, and spacious. To breakfast, although the same for the 2 days I was there, was also good. Highly recommend!

Decent stay, couple of things are in need of a deep cleaning though.

Not owned by a hotel chain

If you’re looking for a hotel chain, then this place is not the one. This place felt more like a family operated bed and breakfast with some hotel like features. Clean place with comfortable bed. Lighting a bit yellow though. Washroom felt a little outdated but overall clean. Would recommend this place if anyone is in the area. Hot tub didn’t work though.

8/10 Very good

My room decor was terrific with stylish furnishings. Most hotel amenities were excellent but showering towels are tiny. The neighborhood is convenient but inelegant. Definitely rent a bicycle nearby to explore city when not on a tour.

Pretty good

Good location, quite close to bus terminal and not far from lots of the must-see historical spots around Gyeongju. The hotel itself is nice, the rooms relatively spacious with decent amenities. It is family run and reasonably friendly. The complimentary breakfast was dreadful and as a result skipped out on it for most of our stay.

Behind a deceiving neighbourhood and reception, lies an excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable room, with a spa, ample bathroom, good bedding. Breakfast provided. Laundry facilities can be used free of charge. Great experience

Very friendly !

Super friendly staffs and owner ( i believe ), I was in a hurry to the train station early in the morning and the staff arranged a cab to the station using his own account. Thank you !

8/10 Very good

Shower over jacuzzi difficult to use, jacuzzi inoperable. Rooms good size and cleaned regularly. Adequate breakfast and breakfast staff helpful, reception not so good. Good position for site seeing our room faced the street and was very noisy at night.

Central hotel with breakfast

A nice boutique hotel close to Gyeongju bus terminal, easy to go on day tours. Breakfast included which was nice. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. We loved the bath tub! There were only 4 small towels in the room, no bath towels. Maybe it was a mistake, we don’t know. My partner found the sheets a bit plastic which made him feel hot at night. The staff didn’t speak English and one of the guys didnt answer or even look at us when ”interacting” with us, that felt quite rude.
Tommi, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Nice rooms with good bath rooms, but the dustbins were not emptied within three days. Furthermore, although written on a handout (you geht this when checking in) that you should try to be in time for breakfast (we had chosen 08:40 as breakfast time), if you are at the desk at 08:45, you will not get anything for breakfast.
Christian, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good value and convenient

Located very close to the intercity and local bus terminals and walkable to the start of the tomb area and Hancock village. The area was populated with motels, small restaurants, pc bangs and hostess bars - but hardly the red light district as others have suggested. We felt very safe and it was quiet at night. The hotel had a 1970s vibe with dark devour in the corridors but the room was brightly lit, huge and included a pc, clothes steamer and huge TV. There wasn't a plug for the jacuzzi bath and we weren't there long enough to request one so don't know if it worked. Breakfast was basic but filling - bread, fruit, yoghurt, salad, fries, sausage and scrambled egg. BHC opposite and plenty of nearby convenience stores nearby.
Kathleen, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel is within walking distance of the bus stations, which is extremely convenient. Breakfast (toast, salad, sausage and eggs, coffee/tea vending machine) is offered every day. Lots of toiletries and drinks are provided in the room and are replenished daily. Staff are very friendly. Cons: my shower had a slight leak and my air conditioner produced a significant amount of condensation, to the point where I had to put towels/trash can underneath to catch the water. Netflix is available on the TV but you'll have to log in under your own account as the hotel's is a shared one and doesn't allow multiple users to watch at the same time. Overall, I think this is a good value for money if staying in Gyeongju.
