Hotel Mercure Rif Nador

Hotel staff was not necessarily well trained but were very nice and well meaning. Clearly, the culture is not as friendly to women, and this was evident in the difference in service between when my wife asked for somethings vs when i asked for something. The property has been miraculously renovated, but was still under construction when we visited. The food and beverages were very good. Authentic Moroccan tagines on the menu. It is clearly the best property in the region and staff were proud of this. We also felt very secure. Lots of security. Ideally situated next to the sommercial 'souk'. Also right on the "croisette or beach boulevard, and rooms over the beach can be loud. There are apartments as well as hotel rooms, with convenient options for family. There is a beautiful hammam , spa and beauty center which we did not have time to try. We would come back without a doubt. Thank you!

Physical presence of the hotel is unique character . But condition of the carpet was horrible. If I didn’t pay I should rather leave the hotel immediately. Breakfast was not fresh. Bread which was displaced was not fresh. I think hotel authority should do surprise visit especially on Sunday ( my visit was Saturda/ Sunday) .

This is a good hotel in Nador- many tourists and foreigners stay here. There is a good bar and a decent international restaurant. Rooms are ok, nice balconies. Nice pool area. A minor annoyance was the front desk staff calling our room at night to insist we come down to pay our bill. We had just eaten dinner at the restaurant and charged it to the room. We were going to pay when we checked out the next morning but apparently they don't trust guests to do that.

The location is great, right on the water after the corniche and a road. Ask for a high floor for a pretty view of the surrounding mountains if not on pool side. There is a really nice outdoor pool that overlooks the ocean though be warned its pretty windy out there! Very clean bathrooms in all the public areas. The rooms show a little wear and tear, and the linens could be better quality, but overall good and have a nice terrace. Modern bathroom and shower. TV has stations in multiple languages. There is a bar (with actual alcohol- hard to find in Morocco sometimes) that serves small plates as well as an international restaurant which is decent. Haven't tried the Moroccan restaurant (if it's even open), nor the Spa or indoor pool but read there was an extra charge. Free self parking in a hotel lot which also is unique for city hotels in Morocco. After early issues with the internet, it's been fine. Hotel staff are ok, not the nicest or most helpful but competent. Breakfast in the morning is pretty good- made to order eggs/omelettes, some other hot and cold options. Fruit selections could be improved, most of it looks canned. Overall I recommend this hotel.

Très bon séjour à l’hotel mercure qui est très bien situé. Petit bémol, une réservation pour 1 chambre 2 personnes via Hotel.com mais comptabilisé pour 1 seule personne par l’hôtel car prix par personne et non à la chambre.

Séjour très positif. Hôtel au bord de la lagune, très beau, très remarquable et contemporain. L'intérieur suit tout autant ce modernisme. Chambres accueillantes mais qui manquent de soin : drap troué, peinture au plafond écaillée, téléphone non fonctionnel, coffre-fort bloqué… A noter la remarquable gentillesse et le professionnalisme de la femme de chambre Khadija du troisième étage. Sinon piscine magnifique, vue à couper le souffle. C'est un hôtel chaleureux.

Mooi hotel en locatie maar door het personeel die totaal niet weet hoe je met gasten moet omgaan is het zonde van je geld !! Regendouche komt een klein pis straaltje uit en kom men na 2 pogingen niet maken zeer slecht en zogenaamd geen andere Kamers beschikbaar niet dat ik daarom vroeg. Bij de ingang moet je je bijna dagelijks meerdere keren per dag jezelf legitimeren aan de portier het is echt omgekeerde wereld maargoed goede les voor €190 per nacht, geef mij 2 weken in het hotel en ik ontsla 98% van het personeel en zet het hotel zo op de kaart, kijk alleen al naar de reviews op deze site laat staan ergens anders. Avant tout, nous devons féliciter le personnel qui était PARFAIT ! Rien à dire ! Accueil, attentions, politesse, gentillesse, tout nickel. Nos seuls regrets sont les suivants: aucun endroit de l'hôtel permet de se poser au calme (dans la chambre, les nuisances de la route sont constants - klaxons, cris, musique, festivités etc. malgré le double vitrage. La piscine est animée du matin au soir avec de la musique à fond et là aussi aucun moyen de lire au calme par exemple). Les ascenseurs tombent régulièrement en panne alors qu'ils sont déjà très lents. Les cartes d'accès aux chambres se démagnétisent minimum 1 x par jour. Le wifi dans les chambres n'est pas constamment disponible. Un porte savon serait très utile dans la douche ! Voilà, excepté les problèmes plutôt techniques, le sourire du personnel a comblé ces manquements ! Chapeau à eux !
