We loved everything about our stay, the property is beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the area is safe. There are 2 beaches nearby and plenty of restaurants, some within walking distance. We did take an Uber over the bridge as well to our favorite restaurant that we found (The Fat Tuna). Breakfast was delicious, we had it delivered to the room the first day and ate in the main house the second. They offer wine and cheese in the afternoon and fresh baked cookies in the evening. The view of the marina was amazing and fun to watch the boats.

8/10 Very Good

I have stayed here once before and that is why I booked it again. The hotel is clean and in a very nice location. The staff is very nice as well. The biggest issue I had was that they were painting the floor of their wraparound porch all weekend on a prime weekend! My room is very small and does not have a porch or a patio, so I would have loved to have had my coffee sitting on the porch this morning. It rained last night, so all of their outdoor chairs were soaking wet. They continued to paint the porch this morning when it was a beautiful morning with an inn full of guests. Whoever chose to paint the floor of one of the biggest assets of the inn, the porch, made a very bad choice. It really was a shame. Keep in mind, the inn sits on the marina and Friday night a lot of boaters had a big party on the dock with the fire pit, which made it fairly loud for quite a while. There are also no irons allowed in the rooms to iron your clothes. You have to iron in the front foyer or the dining room and the staff has to provide the iron and board for you. It was a bit awkward to be ironing my clothes in front of the other guests. They told me that the steam from the iron can set off the smoke alarms. I was really looking forward to my second stay here, but it just wasn’t everything I was hoping for. Hopefully, this review may help the inn going forward, as it really is a very lovely place in a great location.

My wife and I were away for a mid-week stay and very much enjoyed the Inn. Every one was super friendly, the room was spotless and the breakfast was top-notch! We recommend to anyone staying at the Inn to get up and see the sunrise over the marina, you won’t regret it.

Wonderful inn with lovely and helpful staff. The nightly cookies and daily breakfast were great ways to bookend days in the area where there is plenty to do. The evening pontoon ride up the river was fun and relaxing. Will definitely come again!

This is a fantastic choice in the Niantic Connecticut area. The inn is beautiful and has water views pretty much from any spot. They serve breakfast complementary with the room and it is not a buffet of eggs in a pan that are two hours old. There's a chef in the kitchen who makes breakfast Off menu. Fantastic… The rooms are renovated, AC works well, the shower has terrific pressure… I really loved my visit here. Enjoyed coffee on my private porch with a few of the marina

8/10 Very Good

I had business in area & decided to stay a night for convenience. I booked the smallest room in main house for $300, it said Long Island sound views. I saw only rooftops, parking lot or tall hedges. The mattress also was in need of replacement since it had a sag in the middle. The wine/cheese was very welcoming since I hadn’t had a chance to have dinner & was going out for a seminar that evening. I was disappointed upon my return that there were no evening cookies available for me. The morning breakfast is taken by order and there wasn’t enough room to sit inside on a cool, rainy morning. I consequently sat on the porch with a blanket on my lap. I am a tea drinker and was very disappointed to only find Lipton teabags with lukewarm water for preparation.( I would’ve loved a pot of tea) I had to keep asking the waitstaff to put my teamug in microwave to warm it up. I don’t think this is a usual standard of Designation of a prestigious inn! By the time I received my “hot” breakfast on the porch, it was cold. The French toast was delicious anyway. Perhaps I might suggest that there be a few items available to help yourself while waiting for a warm breakfast such as fresh fruit/yogurt. The staff was extremely friendly. I also was at the dock 5:20 waiting for the tour boat following Lobby instructions. Boat did not arrive until 545. I had no opportunity to take the tour since he said he was done for the day(Found out later it was his 1st day on the job) so disappointing😔

Beautiful property overlooking the Marina. We worked remotely during our stay and the views were breathtaking. The complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese and cookies in the evening were an added bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. The afternoon boat rides were wonderful. Property is conveniently located to downtown Niantic- easy walking as we didn’t have a car and found that we didn’t need one.
