The Lemongrass Lodge appears to be a converted house. It was clean and comfortable, with a very nice view from its mountainside location. It was also a good value, as I only paid 70 Euros per night, which is cheap for the Seychelles. However, that price did not include breakfast.
Important note: This hotel is only about 400 meters from the beach / ocean, but it is 400 meters up a very steep, one-lane mountain road. I could not imagine staying there without a car. Even with a car, driving there had some white-knuckle moments, when another car was coming in the opposite direction.
Americans wanting to visit should be aware that the Seychelles, as a former British colony, has cars drive on the left side of the road.
If you rent a small economy car it will likely be stick shift, which you'll be doing with your left hand, from the right front seat, on twisting mountain roads, often with no guard rail and a sharp drop off right at the edge of a narrow lane!
