soggiorno rilassante, e confortevole

First of all , this is not a hotel but some old apartment. The owner made us wait for 2 hours to check in even though we reached there by 12 noon. The guy who took care of the checkin keeps traveling across the city to take care of different properties. We we're tired after 18 hours of flight and I told him this wasn't fair and he said that I should go and look for other accommodation.. I called hotels.com customer care and the representative said she would reach out to the property but nothing happened.

The room was very clean and the host very responsive. Only issues were trying to find it to check in (you have to go through a locked gate and the building isn't marked) and the breakfast was a little less than filling. The area is a bit out of the way unless you are going to the Vatican Museum.

Checking in was challenging. We were asked when we would arrive. I messaged at first a later time, but then sent the correct time, based on our train arrival. When we got to the area, I messaged the owner to ask for directions from the metro station. He replied back, but once I messaged him that we were at the hotel, he didn't reply. I tried calling a few times...and the first time he answered but hung up. The second time the phone just kept ringing. I messaged him again and he said his employee was on the way and would arrive in 10 minutes. But he kept us waiting for almost 25 minutes. The hotel employee was super nice. He was very accommodating and pleasant. His pleasant attitude was one of the highlights of our stay. The stay was ok. Really, we just chose this hotel for the close location to the Vatican Museums. When we go back to Rome, I doubt we would stay in this facility again.
