Three of us stayed at this hotel for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Less than 200 metres from Torino Porta Nuova Station, it occupies a beautiful Art Nouveau building with bright interiors, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light. Our suite was spacious and well-equipped with a washer, coffee machine, stovetop espresso maker, and ample storage.
The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and shops, the hotel is an excellent base for exploring the city.
During our visit, we took a regional train to the designer outlet mall between Turin and Milan. The journey took about 1 hour and 20 minutes, plus a 9-minute shuttle ride. Be sure to buy the return train and shuttle ticket package at the station. Unfortunately, rail strikes disrupted our return trip, resulting in a long detour and a much later arrival back in Turin.
A culinary highlight was the outstanding scampi pasta and seafood at Sora Gina, located next door to the hotel. In contrast, a highly rated truffle restaurant offered impeccable service and excellent wine pairings, but the food was surprisingly bland. Despite generous portions, the truffles had little aroma or flavour, making the experience disappointing.
Considering its prime location, spacious accommodations, excellent service, and reasonable pricing, this hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We would definitely return!
