Nice with oddities

Overall nice hotel with a beautiful lake and nice owner.Clean, well located for Halifax and the shoreline with Peggy's Cove etc A bit dated with old fashioned room keys but we didn't care. Some oddities. For example showers are mostly handicapped accessible with floor level entrance and bars BUT there's no shelf or other place in the shower to put soap and shampoo except on the floor. Ridiculous if you're handicapped. Parking spaces are narrow with concrete poles that scratch your car if you miscalculate. Outside the room are very bright lights that the curtains don't block completely. But, overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay , very cute and well kept units, Queen bed was more like a double bed. The motel is close to a busy road , I would suggest ear plugs for light sleepers. I highly recommend this motel and will be my place to stay next I am back in Halifax. Great outdoor space if the weather would have cooperated

This is a great inexpensive motel. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and the air conditioner is almost silent as it is a mini-split. This will be my go to place when in Halifax. It’s a basic motel and my room had a small kitchen table and 2 chairs so it’s not a place to just hang out.
