Advertising was misleading, stating breakfast was included, and there was a restaurant available onsite. Neither of these proved to be true. We were disappointed to learn this when we got up for breakfast the first morning to find out we had to make a 20 minute drive for breakfast. At this point we would have been happy to just check out and find other accommodations, however we were told the hotel has a 2 week cancellation policy. The owner of the property was quite possibly the most ignorant person I have ever met in the hospitality business. He had zero empathy, nor offered any sort of solution, or refund for the services we were not receiving l, and now had to pay for elsewhere. I was told “it’s country concert weekend, suck it up”. We were not there for the concert, nor should it matter. They also advertise daily housekeeping. We did not encounter housekeeping services at all during our 3 night stay. We had 2 damp towels for the entire stay. Sure, we could have called and asked for more, but after our first encounter with the owner, we did not care to have another. Travellers beware of the false advertising, and terrible customer service. Stay here as a last resort only, and come prepared with your own food, as there are not the options advertised on their website.
