This is a terrible place to stay . I tried to cancel my stay two weeks before my stay . This place will not let you cancel. I wanted to cancel because the business trip was cancelled. The manager wouldn’t not cancel or refund my stay nor offer me a credit or anything. Just took my money with no remorse, thus is a terrible hotel don’t book this place 😡😡😡😡

One Night Stay
We stayed in a standard king room. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. I loved the old architectural features but it may not be for everyone. We ate at their restaurant next door and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Terrible check in
Got there at 5:15 and tried to check in. Was told room was not available. And need to wait an hour for them to clean. Terrible check in experience. Needed to get in the room to get ready for the night and unable to.

This is an aging hotel, so be aware of that. We couldn't find a thermostat in our room, so we had to leave the windows open, which was quite loud. The room's amenities were clean but very dated. I would not have been happy had we paid the normal rate, but we got a deal.
The location is lovely, though and the staff is very nice. Perhaps some rooms are more updated than others, so I would ask for one of those if you consider staying here.

Love the Knickerbocker
As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Knickerbocker on the Lake. I love being able to walk to Juneau Park safely to enjoy the out of doors. When visiting in the summer, I always take advantage of the Juneau Park Beer Garden. This visit was the first time I ate at the Knick, the on-site restaurant. I had the best grilled shrimp mango salad.

the hotel was beautiful and a very nice stay. the initial impression from the front desk was terrible. after a six hour drive late in the evening, we waited 20 minutes at the front desk for the receptionist to check in, while she was outside chatting. very let down to the start of our stay.
