I even didn’t stay an hour in the hotel. Workmen were everywhere and the TV in my room had only the worst programs you can dream off. None of the TV aps worked which I was told was the supplier’s fault but he has been informed and this would be sorted as and when possible and, apparently, all the bedrooms (I am talking about the ones ready for customers) were affected. But, as the manager pointed out, this hotel company is not for people who want to enjoy a night in but who want to enjoy discovering London … Unfortunately for me, and customer who have a small child, I am only staying one night for business tomorrow, I am tired and doesn’t fancy discovering London but chill out after travelling all day to come here!! The room would have been OK without this problem, as for customer service … I can understand now why there is the option of paying £5.90 or so for a refund which I applied for at first but then cancelled it as I thought I won’t need it, well, how wrong can you be?
