Raithwaite Estate

I love this place, one of the few places I get genuinely excited about staying in! I tend to arrive late afternoon and go for a swim/sauna if my room is not quite ready. Everything about Raithwaite says 'quality' from the lovely welcome to the standard of the decor. The food is great, the service is excellent. The bar area is always busy with couples and families enjoying a beer and often playing card games or board games.

Great customer service, really Recommend for this alone! Spa was fine but just the basic facilities. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely but very over priced for what's it was. Overall would definitely recommend if not on a budget

We had another lovely stay at Raithwaite. The breakfast was exceptional. The only slight disappointment was having to stay in the 'keep', rather the main hotel. One of the main reasons of our stay was to use the spa facilities, and it's much more convenient to stay in the same building. It would have been nice to have been forewarned, so it wasn't a surprise on check-in.

Lovely customer service. Overall experience let down by poor pool area (cold pool, over busy and advice that once the children’s time starts at 4pm until 6pm it will be hectic). Food in restaurant good but area too bright for intimate dining
