Just like a budget hotel. However breakfast great and staff very helpful and friendly ...
Friendly staff, great location! Always choose to stay at this hotel when I am in the area.
Was a quick overnight stay. We were hardly in our room. It was small clean and comfortable
Doors locked with no instruction. Side door to restaurant open after trying all others. Interior sign to reception. At reception sign to find manager in restaurant. Very odd The room itself is fine
Comfortable rooms. Interesting building. Breakfast service a little slow.
Nice clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast at a good price
Great place to stop, central to Dunfermline, it's park and town centre.
I guess it depends on what you’re looking for, in how you’d rate this place. If you’re accustomed to hostels, this is a step up. If you’re accustomed to a Holiday Inn, this is not. Everyone was super nice, and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately our air conditioner went into some timer mode just as we were going to sleep, so the room was hot & stuffy. Can’t open the window, and the blinds were busted so you can’t roll them up. Mattress was super thin so you could feel the supports underneath. Bed didn’t even have a fitted sheet, just a flat folded around the mattress. I know they’re recently under new ownership, so hopefully they’ll make some improvements soon. It wasn’t unclean, there were no bugs, and the price was great. Just wasn’t what my husband & I were hoping for booking a 2-week tour of Ireland & the U.K. for our 10-year wedding anniversary.
Great little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Dining in the evening was lovely with nice ambience and tasteful decor. Breakfast was great too with good choices. Parking was easy enough at back of hotel, albeit in a public car park, and there was space at the entrance to load/unload luggage from car.
