Advertised available parking - it’s $20 daily and only 16 allocations for the hotel. So none available when we checked in. So because no parking we couldn’t access the hotel without a long dreary walk through the narrowest paths… Construction blocking the entry so must go through this narrow maze over bark, curbs and tarmac before getting to the entry, and all in reverse to get to car. No shelter from rain or elements either… Blizzard when checking out, and we had to walk through all of the construction maze wet and windy. It’s about a 30-40 metre obstacle course! You would think reception would offer to open the garage parking access to load vehicle. No chance! Despite having do not disturb on door, didn’t stop reception from calling. We had to take phone off the hook… bed rolls around, so you can’t even sit up and lean on the head board or the bed rolls away from the wall… clothes dryer spreads lint all over the bathroom when run. Receptionist had no interest in being helpful when we checked in. I asked for 2 keys, and had to come back to hotel after realising she had only issued 1… deceptive marketing and they don’t care when you bring it up at check in. Its just tough luck… I was offered to cancel booking rather than trying to offer an alternative. Because its so convenient to just look for another hotel on the day we actually arrive to check in… horrible service and very unpleasant and unhelpful. We were an inconvenience to them and we were made to feel just that way.
