Our room at the Maya Caprice looked over the Lauterbrunnen valley and the Swiss Alps. It was stunning. To add to that, the room was large, well stocked and very comfortable. You are only paying for the beautiful view of Wengen and the convenience of being nearby the train station. However, the place is old, and there are few options for relaxing. The spa has only the sauna and showers and an open door jacuzzi which is small and the "gym" was only some dumbbells and a lonely walking machine not very complete. The breakfast was OK but lacked other options besides just only scrambled/fried eggs. I think for the price I paid I was expecting something else besides the view.
