The location is very convenient for sightseeing, restaurants, etc. The apartment is large and the kitchen well-equipped. However, the floors are all wood and thus sounds from your neighbors above and below are greatly amplified. There are no fire extinguishers. There is a laundry washer, but no dryer, though a clothes rack did the job for us.
My main issue was the poor communication with management. We were told by email that we needed to fill out a form before we were given the door code, but there were no instructions. Expedia tried contacting the management but did not get an answer to this. When we arrived, we still did not have a form or code. I called Expedia and they finally got the management to contact me via What's App. We got into the apartment 45 minutes after check-in time. We were staying for 10 days. On Day 3, when I sent a request for more toilet tissue (the rolls are very small in Portugal), I was told that the first 2.3 rolls were provided "as a courtesy." Really?!! So, good location, spacious, noisy floors and poor customer relations.
