Best hidden gem hotel - room, staff, location!

Hands down our favorite stay in Greece. The staff were incredible—friendly, passionate, and full of energy. The location is perfect if you enjoy lively streets with tons of places to eat, drink, and explore, but the rooms themselves are amazingly quiet. Best room we had in all of Greece: smelled fantastic, comfy bed, amazing shower, even a kitchenette with wine waiting for us. The building’s entrance is a bit rough, but don’t let that fool you—inside it’s an absolute gem. Wish we’d booked this for our earlier Athens stay too.

Perfect Athens Hideaway.

The exterior of the hotel doesn’t look that inviting, however once inside your room you are immersed in a world of modern luxury and comfort. Everything is brand-new and maintained to a very high level. A perfect place to get away from the busy street life of Athens right in the centre of the city. Super comfortable bed and very quiet.

I had a great stay at Mariet Boutique and Spa. Tonya (excuse my spelling!) is an amazing host!! She took great care to make me feel comfortable and clearly is passionate about her guests well being. A lovely lady who also gave me some great local recommendations. While the street outside, is not great (the Mariet floor and rooms are top notch. The location is great, steps away from Monastriki square, the metro, Monastriki district and its nice tavernas. Plaka and all the sights are in easy walking distance. If I come back to Athen’s I won’t stay anywhere else. Thanks Tonya!

- Honestly, one of the best hotels I stayed at during my trip to Greece. - Amazing stay, great location, very clean. - Owner is very kind and is always available if needed - They have the coolest shower you'll ever see. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön! Es war alles perfekt und ich kann dieses Hotel zu 100% empfehlen. Die Lage ist perfekt: 2 Minuten zu Fuß zum Monastaraki Platz und 1 Minute zum zentralen Platz ins Psyri. Es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an Essensmöglichkeiten gleich um die Ecke. Die Zimmer sind gut isoliert. Wir haben von anderen Gästen und von den Leuten auf der Straße gar nichts mitbekommen. Der Empfang durch Tonia war sehr herzlich und sie hat sich Zeit genommen um uns alles zu erklären. Unser Zimmer (Santorin) war sehr geschmackvoll mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Es wurde an alles gedacht: von der Kaffeemaschine mit vielen Kaffeesorten zur Auswahl bis hin zur Wellnessdusche und einem von innen beleuchteten Kleiderschrank. Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit. Ich war selten in einem so sauberen Zimmer! Alle Angestellten waren immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten vor dem Check-In und nach dem Check-Out unsere Koffer einlagern. Das war sehr praktisch für uns.

Tolle Lage direkt in der Innenstadt. Alle großen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Tolle Restaurants, Ausgehen, Bars, bes. Rooftop-Bars, alles in 5 - 15 Minuten Umgebung. 2 Minuten zur Metro, ohne Umstieg vom Flughafen. Alle Räume sind individuell und sehr schön gestaltet. Eine kleine Küche zum Zubereiten von Frühstück oder einer einfachen Mahlzeit ist auch vorhanden. Excellente Ausstattung auch im Bad mit einer Dusche mit Dampfbadfunktion. Einziger Nachteil: Mitten im Ausgehviertel ist es auch die ganze Nacht recht laut, vor Allem am Wochenende. Wen das nicht stört oder wer selber lang unterwegs ist, dann ist es perfekt. Vielen Dank für die tollen 4 Tage.
