This place was great. The room is a little on the smaller side, but didn’t expect much bigger for the area. The digital process was great, there was a tea pot, coffee pot and fridge available. Comfortable bed. The only negative was the bar/restaurant was closed. The WhatsApp messaging made it simple to help with finding parking. Highly recommend this place. Definitely would stay again.

Quiet, well decorated and comfortable room. Free. Water/beer/chips, good bath (though small) with heated floor. Very well designed and was pleasure to stay in. The only negative (with sometime is positive...) was the lack of any human interaction from reservation till checkout. All by email, receiving the code etc. Worked fine, but felt a bit strange... Perhaps this is the future...

Disastrous check in

This place has no reception and I was not sent any email with instructions. Luckily a cleaning person let me in, and a hotel guest explained to me how checkin worked. I had to call the chain's call center, where they sent me a link where I had to provide some information and had to scan my ID, but that did not work with Firefox. Then I tried Chrome, and luckily that worked, so finally I was able to get the code to enter my room. Worst checkin experience ever!

Stupid check in process

Decent hotel except for its terrible check in process. I arrived to find the front door locked and no one sitting at the front desk. Turns out this is a non staffed hotel except for the cleaners. Fortunately one of them heard us knocking and they advised us to check the messages emailed by the property. I have never, and will never, read random messages sent by the property before check in. Turns out that you have to pre register yourself through their website. Very stupid, time consuming system requiring a new user name and password. What if my phone had been dead? They need to change the check in system.

Three night stay. Never got email re access pin to check in, but easily done (in the rain) outside the door. There is no front desk or staff. 15 minute walk from train station. Got the large room with corner windows, nice view, beautifully furnished room, with fridge, teas, coffee. And a Mozart bust! Good location - 2 blocks from Linzergasse, a main walking street down to the river. Restaurants, shops, pharmacy, groceries all nearby. Quiet at night. Only caveat is no info on emergency services if needed - communication via chatbot or what’s app. Felt isolated that way. Otherwise a great place to stay while enjoying Salzburg!

L’hôtel est très bien placé. Propre et bien décoré Pas d’accueil physique. Dommage… le gros bémol: le petit déjeuner.. la personne en charge a tout juste dit bonjour, a passé son temps sur son téléphone et ne s’occupait de réapprovisionner le buffet..il n’y avait pratiquement rien à manger, plus de jus d’orange..vu le prix c’est désolant. Mais je pense que c’est la faute de la salariée et pas de l’hôtel.

Automatisiertes Hotel mit kleinen Macken

Pros: Es ist modern gestaltet, bietet an vielen Stellen gut zugängliche Steckdosen, mehrere Optionen zur Temperaturregulierung und die Lage ist relativ gut (15 Minuten Fußweg vom Hbf). Cons: Die Probleme begannen bereits einige Wochen vor der Anreise. Numa schickte mir einen Link, zum Bezahlen der Kurtaxe (welche bei anderen Salzburger Hotels im Hotel-Preis enthalten ist). Leider funktionierte diese Seite nicht richtig. Die Paypal Zahlung wurde z.B. angezeigt, führte aber zu keinem Ergebnis. Weshalb ich den Betrag vor Ort bezahlen wollte. Bei der Anreise stellte ich dann aber fest, dass es gar keine Rezeption bzw. echte Menschen vor Ort gibt. Ich musste online erneut alles angeben (zusätzlich zur Hotels.com), einschließlich eines Scanns meines Ausweises. Erst dann ließ man mich ins Gebäude. Als nächstes musste ich feststellen, dass der Fernseher mit keinerlei Programmanbietern verbunden ist (nur Streaming-Anbieter mit eigenem Account). Nervig war jedoch, dass der Fernseher sich stündlich von selbst eingeschaltet hat, um Numa Werbung zu machen (auch mitten in der Nacht). Die Dusche sieht optisch toll aus, flutet aber bei Betrieb das gesamte Bad. Wenn man nicht ein Handtuch zum Stoppen hinlegt, ebenso den normalen Wohnraum. Gepäck-Aufbewahrung nach Checkout ist nur kostenpflichtig über einen Drittanbieter möglich (Schließfächer am Hbf sind günstiger). Frühstück wird gegen Aufpreis vom Japanischen Imbiss im gleichen Gebäude serviert (siehe Foto).

Way happy with my stay. Was worried when I had booked without realising there was no front desk but everything worked as it should. The few questions I had were Answered instantly via WhatsApp. So no worries on that score. The property is modern, clean and quiet. Kettle and coffee machine in room and a functional breakfast in the restaurant next door can be included. I only stayed one night so I don’t know what it might be lie if you stayed a number of nights without rooms being serviced. You can pay to have that done. But other than that there’s no downside to this that I found. Recommended.

Stayed in the XL room- cute clean spacious apt and bathroom…close to city centre and train station- 5 min walk to bridge and all amenities..great bar attached to hotel- with great drinks and food- sitting area outside Numa staff excellent when we had trouble checking in- prompt and friendly service
