Weekend getaway with friends
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in downtown Lexington was fabulous. Hotel super clean, rooms excellent, staff friendly and location was perfect for our weekend stay. Will always find a Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites to stay in anywhere I travel. I highly recommend!!! Fabulous!

No breakfast
When checking in the receptionist told us there would be a hot grab & go breakfast and coffee. There was neither. We got a cold muffin and that was it. Very disappointing especially needing to leave for my daughters medical procedure.

Used to be really nice
Kids running down the halls after midnight. Door to bathroom wouldn't shut without slamming it closed. Asked front desk for extra pillows they never came. Then second night asked again and got some. Fast food bag tossed in hallway the entire second day we were staying.

We needed a handicap room and were told they didn’t have one. Not sure if I mistakenly booked the wrong room or if they just gave us what they had in hopes of everything being ok. We left to stay at another hotel because of this and we’re still charged for the room. We were only there about 10 minutes. We were in Lexington because my mother was having surgery the next day.

Overall this property was nice. I would stay here again. The breakfast wasn’t ready when I came into the lobby. They’re doing bagged/to go for COVID. I had to stand and wait for the girl to acknowledge me, then ask her was it ready or..? She was texting on her phone the whole time and got hateful when I asked if there was any fruit. I declined the sausage links and egg whites offered. A bagel, piece of fruit and a water/juice would have sufficed. The parking lot was very small and crammed. Clean and convenient though.

Water pressure was a little weak. A bit noisy with the train tracks and hospital near by. Room was clean-ish. Price was good but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Very clean room. Plenty of places to put luggage, computers etc. Walls seemed thin. Could hear kids yelling across the hall.

A great value
My grandson and I make an annual visit to Lexington for a UK football game. We have stayed at this hotel for the last 2 years and are extremely pleased with the service and accommodations. Especially considering the Covid-19 scenario, we couldn't be happier.
