Clean, comfortable, convenient- Richland is a keeper and a hidden gem! Arriving solo at night via Lyft I was apprehensive at first but from the moment I walked in till three days later when I checked out, it was all good. Excellent staff, super clean, small but well appointed room, comfy bed, good bathroom with big window sill to stash toiletries, an actual view out my 10th floor window. When I noticed there was no remote, the same gentleman that checked me in came up immediately to supply one. Convenient outlet for charging, great water pressure in shower and again, clean all around!
A few complaints, no full length mirror, no closet- several hooks on the wall with hangers- and for 2 people the space might feel a bit cramped and it might be hard to access your luggage. I always use the stand but there wasn’t much floor space for another suitcase. Re the wooden stand, be careful- I slid it over with my luggage on it, it was wobbly and I pinched my finger bad enough to get a blood blister.
But small worries for a good hotel in the city, located conveniently in Chinatown, walking distance to Little Italy, Soho, a block from subway, great coffee at Little Canal next to the station. As a bonus the area was really happening at night with streets full of people! Great hotel!
