Underwhelming
Cancelled the stay within 15 minutes. Room was not as advertised in both writing and pictures (photographer certainly earned his money). Half the room was in perpetual darkness as not adequately lit, sitting area designed only for 1 person despite being a room for 2-4 people. Shower head was unsightly and a rug had been placed over the floor to hide a hole in the carpet. I was informed all double rooms were as designed and that the one i was given was the showroom. On-site manager was unable to make any amendments or compensations, I was lucky enough to be able to book on the day the same room type at the Marriott Manchester Picadilly, and for the same price, to receive a room twice the size inclusive of a seperate bath and seperate shower and built-in AC
