We had a 5 night stay at Spark and was expecting nothing short of what Hilton’s name has been known for but unfortunately found the opposite. There were large cockroaches in the parking lot, the bath towels were rough and looked as if they needed replaced, the sheets on the bed were awful, itchy, hot and cheap. The refrigerator would only be set for a standard temperature so our groceries would not stay cold, the cable television was so spotty that you couldn’t watch a show due to it skipping as well as the internet that was so slow you couldn’t link to it. And lastly if you wanted to sleep in, the maids in the hall were yelling back and forth with one another so loudly, that you had to get up, there was no sleep for the weary! I have to say that I’m disappointed in my stay and disappointed that Hilton is putting their name on a hotel but not holding their standards higher. I wouldn’t expect anything but that for an affiliated place to stay. Please choose wisely before staying and do your homework thoroughly, I thought I did. You have to leave honest, truthful reviews for the next person in line or their experience will be the same. Lets be kind enough to look out for each other when staying at hotels, it’s word of mouth that could save the next person hundreds of dollars on their next stay.
