Rooms are very dated and old

Welp, We came during spring break, and thought it would be fun to stay at a place with an indoor (warm) pool. The kids love water, and enjoy swimming. Unfortunately, the water was cold. Kids had chattering teeth within six or seven minutes. They still had fun, but it would have been more pleasant had the $177 dollars we ponied up for one night included a buck or two for the pool heater. On the positive side, the front desk lady was very kind, and check in was super easy. The room was big, beds comfy, fridge nice, shower/bath functional and clean. However, the floors were pretty dirty in the corners, and the moulding/walls/paint looked super cheap. Nice neighborhood for walking, a great park/walking path right across the street, and pretty centrally located.

We had a great trip and our hotel stay was what we were expecting. Nothing spectacular, but we just needed a place to sleep because we were always on the go. I would return but if you’re looking for a fantastic hotel you’ll have to pay for it. I used to live in the area and return back to visit every couple years. I’d say this hotel is good and ranked somewhere in the middle to upper end of hotels in this price range for the area.

Indoor pool and spa were great, but there was a notice that the pool would be unavailable from 12 noon to 1 pm for maintenance (adding chlorine). They never stuck to this schedule and the guy would turn up any time and we would be kicked out, once at 9 am which was the time we swam. Apart from this, the room was well priced but small, bed was comfortable, toilet paper and tissues were better than the usual crap in motels. TV was sizable but I could not access the HDMI port to plug in my fire stick.

Cleaner left our door open, when we told reception they did not seem bothered. Luckily nothing went missing
